Darlene Taylor is the heart behind Fire Trucks of Texas. As  Founder, she has spent more than 20 years building trusted relationships with fire departments across the region. Darlene takes pride in providing personalized service, treating every customer like family, and helping departments find the right truck for their community. Her commitment to honesty, integrity, and exceptional customer care is a driving force behind everything Fire Trucks of Texas stands for.

Jason brings a wealth of experience to our team, with four years in full-time sales and nearly 30 years in volunteer fire service. His extensive background in business management and operations enhances his ability to serve our clients effectively. Jason's personal commitment to quality is evident in his fire station, which boasts four Deep South Fire Trucks from models dating between 2010 and 2023.

Ryan is dedicated to helping fire departments find the right apparatus and equipment to meet their unique needs. With more than 25 years of service with the Wall Fire Department and five years with the Texas A&M Forest Service Fire and Incident Response program, he brings firsthand experience and a deep understanding of the challenges departments face every day.

Ryan believes that strong relationships, honest communication, and dependable service are the foundation of every successful partnership. He is committed to providing responsive support throughout the purchasing process and beyond, ensuring every department receives the personal attention, expertise, and care they deserve.

Hunter brings firsthand fire service experience and a strong understanding of the equipment firefighters depend on in the field. Before joining Fire Trucks of Texas, he served with the Texas A&M Forest Service, gaining extensive experience in wildland firefighting, incident response, prescribed fire, fuel mitigation, and fire apparatus operations. He continues his fire service involvement with the Bastrop County ESD 2 Wildland Division. Having operated apparatus and equipment in demanding environments, Hunter understands that a fire truck is more than a purchase—it is a critical tool that must be dependable, functional, and built around the department’s mission.

Hunter is committed to building long-term relationships with fire departments throughout South Texas through honest communication, responsive service, and practical guidance. His goal is to understand each department’s specific needs and help them find an apparatus that fits their operations, personnel, terrain, and budget while remaining a dependable resource before, during, and after the sale.
